I supported Charlie's right to drawn the prophet. I don't support anyone's right to be surprised when they get attacked by radical muslims. Part of me thinks they actually knew it was coming, a general violent threat or action, and the acted as martyrs. Certainly not to any cause i recognize or appreciate, but to their own i'm sure they feel like heroes.
I'd be surprised if they will face any real consequences for this cover. I think it's a about a bell pepper on the hotness equivalent of funny scale, but it's not entirely brainless. At least it's active social commentary and satire rather than random attacks on people's faith taboos. In the stage our politics are in there really isn't an off-base type of satire. When the regular is this fucking dumb how much more oversimplified and silly can you get?
