He coulda said nothing, instead he took 2 minutes to tweet, which is his way of communicating to people. Do you really have a problem with a man defending his daughter? Especially when she was attacked in a way to get to him.

The Trump brand has become quite divisive this is nothing more than a way of insulating oneself from being associated with Trump. These stores would rather not even deal with it rather than loose the business of some customers that decide that they will not shop at their stores because they sell Trump named/associated products.

Nothing more than a shrewd business decision. Nordstrom even got some free publicity out of it.
