Mostly because I think "Has decided not to be part of the labor force" is clearly a sign that someone has found a way to be comfortable without participating in said labor force, especially when we're dealing with baby boomers who are retiring left and right, and so it's not actually the biggest deal on the planet, especially since the rate is declining of late anyway?

ETA: Sorry that I'm patriotic and actually think that America is great even when the economy is having trouble tho, it's okay for you to pick and choose when to like America, I guess.
