You do realize about 40% of scots voted to leave, right? There's a pretty large population in Scotland. 40% of them being happy about leaving = a lot of people celebrating = people going wild, as Trump posted.

Let's do some math again, shall we?



5.295 * .4 = over 2 MILLION people happy about leaving the EU.

It's very likely Trump encountered hundreds or even thousands of people happy about the leave vote before tweeting that.

Also, those figures are from 2011 so the population is probably larger and even more people were happy about leaving.

It's an obvious error for you to assume that the majority voting stay implies nobody wanted to leave. Not very sound logic. But that's because you aren't as smart as Trump.

When I said no positive agenda that was in regards to leaving the EU. There is in fact a positive mindset and that is because they will be voting to leave the UK to preserve membership in the EU.

But yes, let's do some math. Your argument that there are lots of people who want to leave the EU is kinda 'trumped' by the fact that there are 20% more people (you can tell me specifically how many if you wish to look up the recent demographics) who wish to stay with the Eu. I get it though 2 million might seems like a relevant number when you ignore context

What you just said has pretty much no relevance to the Trump tweet.

Let me explain again since you clearly didn't grasp it the first time.

1) More than 2 million people in Scotland voted to leave the EU
2) Of those 2 million, some percentage were celebrating the Brexit
3) Trump saw some of those people celebrating, and tweeted about it

So, where again did Trump go wrong? It's very likely people were in fact "going wild" due to happiness about the vote passing. Was everyone happy about it? No. But Trump never said that. He just said the place he was at had people going wild over the vote passing, which is a true statement.

The only way Trump's statement is decidedly false is if NOBODY in the entirety of Scotland voted to leave and EVERYONE was miserable about Brexit happening. The numbers show this isn't the case. So you're wrong. Again.

Scotland...didn't want to leave UK 2 years back but wanted to stay in protective bubble EU William Wallace shed a tear or two each vote from the grave.
