@alex I wouldn't worry about her being a one term president.

The Republicans won't be able to repair and rebrand in that amount of time. We will get a full 8 years of mocking trump supporters

The idea that Hillary's gender isn't ever used against her is pretty hilarious.

It'd be dumb for Hillary to not tap into that, though I do agree that there are plenty of people who are kinda over it - they're wrong to be, and there are plenty of other people who are extremely happy to see a woman take the highest office in the land, but I don't think that those people are going to be likely all that upset that she's willing to print up a few thousand woman cards.

As far as having to have a president, i wouldn't mind a woman. Just not that woman.

I prefer someone more like the first woman to ever receive an electoral vote in the US.

Of course her gender is still used against her. There are portions of America that are still very sexist and truly believe a woman president isn't as good as a male president for some stupid reason.

But to use the campaign slogans/ads she has used and say the things she has said over the campaign trail, such as the things I mentioned in my previous post, are simply unacceptable.

Feminists have worked very hard to make gender a non-issue and here she is frequently mentioning her gender during tough questions and using it for political points. It's shameful. She has utterly failed the feminist movement and their ideals in this regard.

The 'feminist movement' as a general whole isn't actually in favor of just forgetting that women are women and treating everyone like they're exactly the same all the time, at least in my experience.

Who claimed that Hillary's gender is never used against her?

It makes sense for her to tap into it, but she always does it awkwardly. There's a clear disconnect between generations(apparently you are among the disconnected) because my generation is more colorblind and genderblind(in a good way) than my parents generation. Women are competing in school, in the workplace, in the boardroom, and the absence of a woman presidency really doesn't weigh heavily on the minds of younger people.

I think there's a difference between making gender a non-issue and gender being unnoticed or insignificant.

That whole thing sounds awfully similar to folks who talk about being "color blind" in a "post-racial" society, but just along the lines of gender. Like being "gender blind".
