Ultimately it is upto the female i suppose even if the male wants to keep it which im sure drives couples apart,and is still something i question.if male wants to keep it i think she should be obligated to follow through.if both agree and its within a few weeks i see no harm done. Lets face facts accidents/mistakes happen and having a child can really screw people over in life if not prepared.a women gets raped and pregnant obviously shes gonna get an abortion.

What don't you comprehend about it? You are a meat computer. Your conscious is a product of your environment, your brain, your experiences. An aborted, undeveloped fetus doesn't know if it's been born or lived yet. Is it crying? Are unborn babies crying under your bed? What about all the unborn animals? Do they deserve a movement, too? I hear fish lay shitloads of eggs that never get a chance to mature.

Again, do you remember anything of what is was like before you were born? Guess what, that's what death is like, aka non-existence. Soon you'll return to that same state.

Alive? The entire time. Conscious? Not the entire time. Consciousness is generally understood to occur around halfway through the pregnancy. Now answer me this, rather than dodge: what makes consciousness a prerequisite for being a human?
