No, I fully intend on this path, and for good reason. By the logic of "science and reason" being falsely appealed to by the OP, we cannot know one way or the other, only make reasoned inferences based on available inputs.

If you did, you would be the fool, not me, stating with certainty what you cannot know.

so in this thread im a fool for believing with certainty that santa clause is not real?

do you see what i mean? this kind of reasoning is a cop out. i cant be sure youre real and yet i know youre a real person and i know santa clause isnt.
the 'we cant be sure about anything' argument is nonsense

that clearly goes against his ideas of Heaven & Hell, ect.
Earth being 10,000 years old or w/e, ect.

Of course I see what you mean. But regardless of your opinion of my stance as a cop out, I can accept the premise that God may not exist, yet believe He does anyways, based on my own personal observations. An atheist pretty much does not accept the premise that He may.

I have no opinion on your beliefs regarding Santa Claus, other than to note that Saint Nicholas did indeed live and that his spirit lives on.
