Close. We have a few users who practice what Widow calls Chinese Buffet Spirituality, where they pick and choose beliefs from here and there based on what sounds nice to them at the time.

I find this interesting, I am Catholic and we used to call these people cafeteria Catholics..... but then I realized that is how most people SHOULD be..... I think it would be very difficult to find two people that have the exact same beliefs on things even if they are in the same religion... obviously it is different if you pick and choose beliefs at different times to make them suit you, but I have chosen things that I find to be true of my religion and other things that I have found I don't exactly believe... and I have never been stronger in my faith than I am now....

the churches stance on abortion, and birth control I find to be outdated and silly... then there is a lot of the "traditions" that I was raised with, meat on Fridays and stuff like that.. the premise just isn't the same as it was back then...

then again most of the main points I believe in, venial vs mortal sins, forgiveness, body and blood..... I also believe that anyone can get into heaven (including atheists) as long as they have lived a christian life (yes christian with a lower case "c").
