How does it reduce your freedom? Unless you are a Christian in Turkey or something.

And if you live in a developed country, how do you see religion cause a war that could destroy mankind? Where I live religion only plays a very small role these days.

Religion is just an exemple, our society is reducing our freedom in many ways... Good exemple is how they can put you in jail just because you grow a plant...
And about religion, it started many wars, and will start more if we keep going this way.

Not as well as one could live with it.  The reason is very obvious.  God is much more powerful and capable of much more than any person on his/her own.  So when you open yourself up to allow that Power to work through you, you experience a better quality of life than if you spent it blocking yourself off from God because your ego tells you that you don't need Him.

Please give me one exemple I can experience/check for myself, or proove with science.

Aslo, what exactly do you think is not rational in the truth contest ?

Quote (The Truth Contest)
Our true history: Evolution is no longer just a theory; it has been proven true beyond a reasonable doubt. The problem is even people who believe evolution is true disassociate themselves from the process. They some how skipped all the lower forms of animal life and just started out at the top of the evolutionary ladder. The evidence says we evolved as life evolved.

In other words, you were those other animals.

You had to be lower animals to be a human now. You lived as all the different animals in your evolutionary line. You lived through millions of years, and millions of lives and deaths to get where you are now. That's what Darwin's book means.

In addition to the fossil evidence, the genetic code proves that all animals, including us, evolved from bacteria over the last 700 million years on earth.

In other words, you were a microbe, an insect, a fish, a dinosaur, an ape...

Religion isn't about living or surviving. Religion is about how you live.

How you live should not change based on what religion you are....

Religion is just another vehicle people use in their life. Some people choose not to use it. Similar to how some people don't buy certain cars. Some people don't play certain video games because it doesn't fit their likes.

Applies the same here. And for some it's born to a part of their tradition as they are raised up in families with it.

That's not the point the person was trying to make.

Just trying to make a point that what matters is how you live and that religion is more of a personal experience that some people share with others.

Honestly, the answer is No. We can be way better people than we currently are without using religion as a cop out and a crutch for our own insecurities. Hands down. Cognitive dissonance.

It took me about 6 months of rigorous work to have a real experience. Many people out there expect to find God while maintaining their own egotistical ideas, and that simply doesn't work. :(

Religion is a preference type of thing combined with traditions.

Acting as if there is any kind of secret other than that is silly. Religion is a personal concept that can be united to a more social/broader concept between people who follow it.

Stop talking as if your experience is going to be somewhat relevant to how some people are going to "find" a god or gods.
