I reject the message you are trying to express . Your are trying to apply your personal understanding of logic to a topic you are not familiar with , Christian teaching and doctrine . It causes you to make blind assumptions that are not in keeping with Biblical truths .

Can you please clarify for me how my interpretation is incorrect? The Bible teaches us that we must accept Christ to achieve salvation, but it we aren't certain that not accepting Christ will prevent us from reaching salvation, that means we cannot affirm that the former statement is true, since it becomes possible that one who does not accept Christ can still be saved.

It is incorrect because you are using a term you can not possibly understand , " accept Christ " . You may see it as though looking through a dark piece of glass but you would be hardpressed to come up with an actual defnition of what it means . For the non-believer it is no more than a bland generalization , for the Christian it is understood through the reborn spirit that communicates with God .

yes that's why I want to burn my Bible.

but why does the_rest bother ? why do hedonism and widdowmaker_mk bother, too ? I found the answer!

So suppose God invites you to play a game of chess with him. Besides considering what a great chess player you are, (or that you should have played more chess!) you ask yourself:

question1: Do I turn down the invitation ?
question2: Will I get my ass kicked at chess ?

The definition of "Accept Christ" is irrelevant though, and I'm sure it varies for every individual to make their own connection with God. My point is, you're saying you accept Christ, from what you understand it to mean, and that assures you that your soul is saved. If I say "I do not accept Christ" it doesn't matter if I have a different opinion of what that means, because there's no way I could possibly accept him if I denounce him publicly. And yet you can't say whether I'll be saved or not? That's what I don't understand.

...again , we are dealing with an innacurate understanding of how salvation is attained . When we as Christians say it by " grace through faith in Christ Jesus " we are talking abour a free gift .

I put the Lord, but you can pray to whoever you want to. I'll continue to pray to the Lord though. :)

So is it possible for me to attain salvation even if throughout my entire life I denounce him and my actions support that statement?

I will not speak to it according to what I believe is the role God has assigned to me .
