You find that hard to believe but believe the Bible? That’s wild 💯

There is no chance you did it on your own. Even from an earthly perspective, someone in your life knew about it. If you're saying you never talked about it to anyone ever, I'm going to call bullshit.

You may not have had counseling or something like this, but someone knew and discussed it with you at some point, even if for a brief moment.

Mother Theresa is taking advantage of poor children at their lowest point.

"what's she doing to them?"

nothing, that's why she gets away with it.

there's a reason that AA/NA include a step in their program to surrender to a higher power. It's not just for recovery, it's a prerequisite for God's grace. Most people on earth aren't even capable of this, many people who are capable aren't capable of keeping it up. Sadly in modern life it's harder than ever to surrender to a higher power. It was easy as a mud hut dwelling farmer i think, one rain can change your life towards success or disaster. It's harder with an iPhone, food stamps, and all of the other technological advances we've made to keep us safe with or without God.

not an argument btw, i dont think God is doing much to help addicts, but id add he's not doing much to help anyone. Most aren't worthy of help, not in my opinion but by the scripture.

I'm closer to a Norse Pagan, but it's not really an organized 'religion'. People get stuck on the revolving door of one religion or worse niche subset institution of one. There has been a marginalization of all spiritual practices in the West and I think that is a shame.

The idea of original sin and the need for redemption is ball and chain. Paganism is more about exploit ones self than a group. The Sami Shamanistic shit is pretty out there too, but that's adjacent to Norse.

There has been somewhat of a rediscovery in the Scandinavian states. My family visited the old family in Norway and we're invited to Church. The Church is built on top of the Norse Pagan site. It's in the basement ..

No negatives does not mean nothing is being done. Doing good for people with intention of converting them to your cult is still taking advantage of broken people at their lowest

In a "cult" and alive or suffering and miserable on a destructive path to death, I'd take the former.

Even as someone who deals with chronic crippling daily pain I'd take it.
