I personally don't view same sex relationships, how a person identifies, or whatever physical or mental changes a person wants to do as an offensive to Christ.

I don't think bible 100% articulates Jesus Christ's value of a person and what he died for. I think this can only be discovered by engaging in a relationship.

I'm straight. As a preference I'm attracted to particular types of women. But I have love for all people. I do have issues expressing that love because of the way it could be interpreted.

I don't disagree with this, I feel like a lot of the books of the bible are mostly middle eastern influence and aren't what God/Christ have in mind for the 10 commandments or living a life as a good example of morality which is the essential to the religion.

The bible is perfectly clear when it comes to homosexuality. It's a sin that is condemned. It's also gross.

You find it gross. But there are grossly more disturbing things out in the world. The text you've listed is really just 1st world problems to me, life is just not that simple.

Your statement “It’s also gross” didn’t come from the Bible or the Holy Spirit. It came from the society you grew up in. The society we all grew up in.

People believed for thousands of years that Earth was the center of the universe and they thought the Bible supported their beliefs. Until Galileo Galilei proved them wrong in the early 1600s. Religious leaders lambasted him and called him a heretic. Imagine their shock if they could see what Christians believe about our planet today.

Think about that. The Bible can be easily misunderstood.
