Again, even with that, I still think its too early to draw a definitive conclusion on motive. It has something to do with the no kings movement, he had some connection to the walz administration, but he could have been far-left or far-right and that all be true

Its unclear what if anything he did overseas with his private security job and his businesses look like low footprints, ~3 employees maximum. The vehicle he used in the shooting is clearly the same modified ford explorer he shows on his company website for private security offering "armed patrols" to paying customers, and he had swapped out some elements to impersonate police (changed his license plate to "POLICE", but not even in the right font)
There is enough here to figure this 57 year old was a private business failure which usually contributes to the kind of environment for self-radicalization.
But between his targets and "NO KINGS" fliers and list of further targets, still not entirely clear but most likely a far-right nutter who kept his descent out of the public eye and social media until he struck

That's a nonpartisan business board/council. Governors of both parties appoint people from both parties to it, and it has no power or prestige. It means nothing.
