These people hate the USA so much but they don't want to leave. They have no understanding of what a truly repressive government is like.

Try going to Russia or China and waving an American flag at the Red Square or Tiananmen Square and proclaimingit it is US soil. You'd probably never be seen again. Even if you are a citizen, in most countries you do not get free speech.
