It sounds like at least part of the Israeli attack was right out of that pandora's box: They had smuggled drones into Iran and launched from carriers inside Tehran rather than being long range.
Same situation, same potential for perfidy, depending on how they got the weapons in.
Iran launched a fleet of drones against Israel but so far have been visibly shot down, with Israel prepped for just this kind of retaliation. Not clear if any Iranian drones have reached Israel at all.

Based on all the information to date:

The US and Israel are working hand in hand to destroy Iran's quest to attain a nuclear deterrent. Western nations like France, England, Germany etc, will support this action against Iran noting Arabs/Muslims are regarded by them as lesser beings and after all Iran is not in their "group". A bit like how they support Israel militarily and politically against the Palestinians who they perceive as lesser beings "untermenchen". i.e. Iraq had no nuclear weapons but it was utterly destroyed with western nations supporting. Iran has no nuclear weapons but may also be utterly destroyed, with western nations supporting the US and Israel. It's simply not in western nations interests to have any moral fiber. The fact that Israel has closed multiple diplomatic missions all over the world suggests that they are in this for the long haul. Iran DOES NOT have the ability to defeat Israel therefore Israel will likely achieve its goal, with no country prepared to defend Iran. The most likely outcome from this is that Russia and China will strengthen military ties.

In hindsight, Iran was in a no-win situation from the get-go. All attempts by Israel to provoke Iran up to this point failed. With action now being taken to cripple Iran forever, Iran now has to choose to either die fighting or simply be destroyed.

Finally, as a foot note, the idea of someone detonating a nuclear devise in Tel Aviv in retaliation is not plausible. I would go so far as to say that Israel has a 100% chance of winning any type of conflict with Iran.

The west has always acted unilaterally when it comes to military action, that’s why so many ‘others’ call out the hypocrisy of the rule based order.

Tbh I don’t really know how to feel about this, I don’t think anyone on any side wants this to escalate in full scale war. Israel has no capability without the US to go boots on the ground but they can continue to have these type of selective strikes and cut the head off the snake every few months/years as it respawns.


I think Iran at this point probably already has enough enriched weapon grade uranium but it’s the delivery that’s difficult. It’s probably next to impossible to actually hide this as well- Israel has the best spy network.

Let’s hope it’s just another episode and it fizzles out with no other exchanges.

Iran was pretty dumb. They announced that they had acquired sensitive Israeli documents, hey look what we have haha! and Israel's almost immediate response was to bomb them. Whoever decided that this was a good idea in Iran should be marched off a cliff, noting Israel ALWAYS reacts with overwhelming force.
