We live in interesting times. I fear that we are more likely to face another world war than to see Trump, Putin, or Xi peacefully dividing spheres of influence. Fortunately, we have so many opportunities to leave reminders for future generations about what not to do, since we ourselves have failed to make use of even the limited, yet valuable, experience of two world wars (or one prolonged war spanning decades).

Right now Trump is more Pro-Putin/Xi than NATO. He’s pissed. And do you know what happens when a person like Trump gets mad? He holds a grudge and gets revenge he is due(in his mind).

Zelensky and Macron have angered him. He no longer views them as Allies regardless of what he says to the press.

NATO better hope Starmer can convince Trump that Europe is a better choice than Russia.

Trump already has one foot in the grave, and Vance is a political prostitute. There is no number three person among the Republicans, and Musk can at best (though unlikely) become the governor of California or Texas, if his citizenship allows it. As the classics once said: America will be fine, it's the world that's doomed.
