There are so many levels of overplayed here. Its why Trump won. Its why people hate the media. Its so done to death we got sick of it 7 years ago after they had been doing it to Trump over every little story. We used to make jokes about Koi fish nothingburger stories, but even the meta jokes about this kind of obsessive clickbait itself got stale. At some point, it almost got forgotten. We're getting a rude reminder that we're in for 4 more years of the media digging itself deeper into the only hole it knows.
Certain YouTubers are more of a journalist that those media entertainers. Like the guys flying to Panama or Greenland and asking the citizens of those countries what they think about trumps statements. Instead of a bunch of American "journalists" speculating on what the people think.
