Not exactly sure how this isn't illegal.

Although at this point really legal vs illegal does no matter since he's president to be on Monday so now it's just a question of ethics and he clearly does not care about those.

It is kind of sus that tiktok is banned, which was used by gen z and zoomers to communicate political news, meanwhile Musk and Zuckerberg, the owners of X and FB/Meta, are cozying up hard to Trump.

Social Media going to be a shit show from now on.

It was the Biden admin which banned tiktok and it is Trump who just announced that he intends to unban them for 90 days, so that a deal can be struck where tiktok henceforth will be run in the US by a joint venture in which a US-based company holds 50%+1 of the shares.
