News flash, not everything is specifically tailored to you nor does it need to be, if something i dislike is in a show i ignore it or find another show, no need to cry about it, what a bunch of snowflakes.

It's about tailoring it to 95% of the population, not 5%. Woke DEI bullshit just doesn't sell, period. The market demand isn't there.

I'm not entitled, I do the same thing as you when I don't like something especially if it's woke, I just don't pay for it/consume it. And the market on this issue agrees with me, people just don't consume woke DEI crap because why? It's lame, gay, unentertaining, nauseating at its worst - why would anyone willingly spend their hard earned money for such a thing? People pay to go see Chris Hemsworth, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Sydney Sweeney, Margot Robbie & others because they're healthy and beautiful people who represent role models to look up to (even if they're not in reality), it's natural law.

DEI only exists because people cried and whined, threatened to commit suic*de about not being 'represented'. That's literally its origin.. you guys are the entitled ones, no one is obligated to stare at a revolting optical migraine of dysgenic madness.

And it's not profitable that's why they're cancelling stuff and moving away from DEI. You know that these massive conglomerates have lost billions of dollars investing in this?

its more so that, original stories that strike the boxes for DEI aren't marketable
it has to be injected into pop culture and franchises with existing wide audiences
audiences that would prefer that those franchises remain true to their memory

at this point its obvious, it's forced in to tick those boxes
and expose people to ideals they can't oppose.

There's too many menchildren nowadays that consume every slop that Disney puts out, especially marvel movies/star wars. Last marvel movie I watched was endgame, and even that was dogshit.

Endgame was a perfect series finale and closure for the MCU.




I think one reason DEI and wokeness in movies and series is so reviled is that it's actively dragging down the quality of the storylines of beloved IPs.

You can tell a classical hero's story about discovery, growth, failure, overcoming adversity and eventually fulfilling one's destiny (Luke Skywalker, Tony Stark), OR a woke story about a girl being so overwhelmingly gifted that everything she does comes naturally to her, failure is not an option (that's only for the pathetic, weak men) and the only thing possibly holding her back is not being aware of her full potential or not believing in her own, infinite awesomeness (Rey, Captain Marvel).
