I've never admitted this but I'm not capable of having children.
However I do have many nieces and nephews.

They do go to private school and I help chip in so they have a proper up bringing.

i went to private catholic school k-8 and guess what? we still learned about sex in the 5th grade and it didnt excite anyone, no one paid any attention

can you link your local school board's curriculum? I can, and it's not obscene at all

every conservative I know locally that has spent the time looking at it with me has changed their tune immediately

I highly doubt my local schools have anything crazy going on. It's mostly the heavily liberal states and random creep teachers out there. Problem is you have to instantly stem any creep outbreak.

california is your most liberal state, correct? looking at the curriculum right now and:
- the phrase sexual orientation first occurs in grade 6... I knew gay kids in the 80s and 90s before they were ~11 years old in grade 6
- gender roles first occurs in grade 5; I have a family member who started expressing a gender different from the one they were assigned at birth before they were ~10 years old in grade 5 - and this was in small town newfoundland in the 90s

edit: but yes - random creep teachers need to be addressed - curriculums exist for a reason and deviating too far (in any direction) is problematic

I appreciate your sympathy, it's just something I'd had to accept.

That said, it hurts when parents take their children for granted and let a government facility indoctrinate them.

Knowing how bad I want to be a father but will never be able leaves me feeling a bit jaded.

Children are miracles of life and should be treated with the best in life.

i really dont think sex education in schools is as bad as you think it is, or that its anything close to 'indoctrination'

some education is better than none IMO. a LOT of parents never have the talk with their kids, i know i didnt get one
