well, I guess trump that voted democrat all of his youth also figured it out, that the 2 party system dont mean shit so even if he's left leaning on some of the topics (womans rights to abortion, being anti-war and so on), running the math on which party to run with to have the highest probability of being elected and he went with that other party instead
