You think we should then spend the hundreds of billions of dollars we spend on giving welfare to illegal aliens belongs to their corrupt governments??

People want to improve their lot in life. If they believe they'll find it in a different country, they'll cross any kind of border to get there, regardless of laws.
If there are more opportunities in their home countries, there's likely a lesser incentive to immigrate.

The Problem is our country provides them free housing, food, and healthcare, and they don't even pay taxes.
Why shouldn't have to pay for those things for those people in our country, let alone as you suggest in their home country.

I don't believe that any lawmaking on your side is going to stem the flow of immigrants to your country. 'Defending' the border is reactionary and doesn't adress the root of the problem, so it's unlikely to succeed, imo.

I don't pretend to know how that foreign aid should materialize. Probably different strategies are needed simultaneously. It's a complex issue.

IF we stopped the welfare they receive they will stop coming, we are subsidizing the problem.

I doubt that.

So why the protest at offering them no help if they got here??

Where did I protest that, please?

You started with exhortations that if they are not coming here then we should be paying for their welfare there.
Then you go on to say it wouldn't matter at all if we did not help them here.
What are you suggesting that we have a state run economy for countries that are not even our own??

Tell me where is the opportunity for a better life coming here and working a no to low skilled job that pays nothing, if you have to pay for your own housing, food, healthcare, as well as pay taxes??
