You don't see why DoJ might want prosecution to wrap before the election for any reason aside from "ELECTION INTERFERENCE!"?
Don't get it twisted bogie, you're just TiStuff with a larger vocabulary. Same level of critical thinking.
I recall you and Thor staking your collective credibility on Covid having zero chance of having escaped a lab. At some point you have to look back over the past ~7-8 years and recognize that you've been on the wrong side of every major policy issue.

Courts and prosecutors have an obligation to set schedules in line with the public interest. Getting a major candidate's trial done before the general election is in line with that.
You can find phrases such as
"All stakeholders, including the general public, have a vested interest in the efficient and
just handling of criminal cases and we make these proposals with that goal in mind"
Just by googling "best practices for trial scheduling DOJ".
But I suspect you know this already, and are just lieing, as you always do.
JUSTICE MANUAL
Title 9: Criminal
9-85.000 - Protection of Government Integrity
Quote
Federal prosecutors and agents may never select the timing of any action, including investigative steps, criminal charges, or statements, for the purpose of affecting any election, or for the purpose of giving an advantage or disadvantage to any candidate or political party. Such a purpose is inconsistent with the Department’s mission and with the Principles of Federal Prosecution. See § 9-27.260. Any action likely to raise an issue or the perception of an issue under this provision requires consultation with the Public Integrity Section, and such action shall not be taken if the Public Integrity Section advises that further consultation is required with the Deputy Attorney General or Attorney General.
