The general suggestions Trump provides have very little thought behind them. Even with correct context, which is that he wants to disable access to people with bad intentions, he is basically doing very little research before throwing out very basic suggestions which simply won’t work. Want to stop traffic from the Middle East? Fine, but what about all the recruitment that occurs out of Europe and other regions? Want to shut down sites that spew radical agendas? Fine, but what about when they bring up 100s of other domains with the same content?

I do have additional counterpoints but I think my statements above should be enough to prove that even with context….. his statements aren’t that eye opening.

Also, before everyone jumps on my dick and says I’m a lefty - I would like to think that I am pragmatic and would consider myself more moderate. I don’t like to take any positions because I do understand the complexity behind each person’s perspective. I am very open to changing my opinion about any situation and/or candidate.

He's pretty much always riffing when he says this stuff, but in principle his ideas are good, he just needs good competent people to actualize his brilliance

its hilarious how disconnected he is, thats the best part to me. i dont expect him to understand it fully but for him to say "we're gonna block the terrorists from the internet" is so ridiculous i cant help but laugh. thats shit my grandpa would say

i guess his sentiment for that phrase is he doesn't want them using social media apps / the internet as a gateway to spread their terrorism (if i had to guess what he meant if he expanded on it)
