Part of the reason I will never vote in a Primary and only vote local.

As for "how did we get here" as George Carlin once said, "Shit in and shit out this is the best we can do as Americans" "These incompetent people are the best we can do". Shows how fucking dumb Americans are and I'm American.

I didn't vote when I was 18 when Obama was running for his first term and have lived to see "Hope and Change" never happened.

I also didn't vote in Biden or Trump(I had better things to do then get my one vote every 4 years that supposedly matters but it doesn't)(Pick red or blue)

So I torch my family who voted for Biden because he was the "lesser of two evils". How dumb is that? & they know Biden kicked the can further down the road then Trump.

Won't say a fuckin word and now they know that voting is useless and that neither party or persona ever gave a fuck about the average citizen.

Yea the obvious backing is so obvious Vivek torched them with it.

I'm sure he knows all that and that's why he's just laying out all the facts that the party itself can't grasp or refuses to admit.

Establishing himself like this isn't going to net you favor with that "old money" but at least he's being real and honest something most politicians can't do.

I don't know enough about him to really endorse him but you are right that the average American can't see past his name and Hindu background.

Haley and Christie have ZERO appeal to the younger voting base but like you know the average voter in the US is 40+ so they don't need to "win the youth".

I won't be voting this election cycle for the same reason every 4 years. Illinois will always be "Democrat" because of Chicago. It's really sad because most people from the rest of the state are Republican and most the Democrats I know are Democrat by association. I have family members who are so conditioned to vote "Democrat" and yet if I asked them questions they'll say "Well I'm an American first" or "Republicans are kind of racist". Luckily my family is split evenly between Republicans/Democrats but someone like myself who doesn't really affiliate with either asks them both the hard questions.

It is sad how an entire generation(my parents) grew up in a city with CORRUPT politics and so they naturally think all politics is corrupt. Yet they lack the courage/will to do anything about it. "All politicians are corrupt" what can we do? They thought democrats rigged elections in Chicago for decades and so when the whole "Rigged election" came up they both were like "Of course the dems rigged it" They always rigged it here they just figured out how to rig it on a national level. Really sad tbh.

No leaders. No solutions. Just personal attacks etc.
