The question is who's gonna collapse first. The US is addicted to spending like a drunk sailor and cannot even stop overspending let alone pay back that insane debt.

No one will come to collect that debt what will happen in such occasion is that the international markets will no longer trust the US once they default on their debt. No more lending no more spending which will be catastrophic for US foreign policy / military, this whole structure collapses.
