Politics in the US is pretty dumb specially with how polarized left and right are these days.

I'm particularly against any sort of religion-related ideals dictating modern society. Like laws against abortion based on religious beliefs is something I'm deeply against.

I don't particularly like the concept of abortion, but I believe woman should be able to decide to do it, if it's a medical risk, metal health issue, undesired pregnancy etc.
I'm generally in agreement with doctors and science understandings of when and how a fetus grows past "the point of no abortion".


I strongly believe in the separation of church and state, and any policy being written because of religious ideals/morals should be taken as what it is. The ideals of said religion.

Policy, laws, morality should be solely decided from "humanity" alone and not what some god-like entity, or what people who believe this entity wrote xxxx years ago.


I do however tend to lean right in many topics that don't suffer from this toxic "religion" aspect of politics. I think it plays a HUGE NEGATIVE part in the divine between the Left and the Right.

I mean you are trying to say the left 'has gone too far' while pointing out fringe cases from a psycho.. but what do you think about the right then? I guess people asking you to call them a dude is more egregious and forcible compliance less than making it illegal to hand out water to people in waiting to vote because your political ieology thinks that is a way to get less Democrat voters?

Or I assume that some wierdo with blue hair is just too much forcible compliance on you than the right democratically losing a fair election and then attempting to over turn the results and force people to have a leader they voted against and dont want. I definitely am against religion in politics

what frustrates me, is that the opposition (or whoever lost the last vote) seems to forget that despite losing, you are still supposed to come together to better your country. progress seems to have halted.

You can blame the right for that

i didnt say "too far", i said "so far". meaning that its gone far enough to move someone like myself to the center. or rather that, i didnt move, but the centerline did. if that makes any sense. for what its worth, ive actively defended both sides in pard if its something i believe in.

Some of these people truly believe in their Religion, so to them, having laws that go against their Religion rules, is a direct attack to "their society". This causes people act irrationally and do anything they can to oppose their "adversaries".
(its everyone's society but historically speaking most societies were ran by religion up until recent modern civilization)

The concept that Religion was a means for our species to make sense of our universe. In order for human civilization to thrive, we needed the peace of mind that comes with being able to explain the unexplained. In order to control the masses and keep people from freaking out because " there is no higher reason to exist".

Why do we exist?
Where did we come from?
What is the giant yellow ball in the sky?
Why is the earth shaking?
Why is there a giant wave destroying our neighboring town?
Why do we look different than other people?


All these massive questions have became relevant once our species evolved enough to understand consciousness and the "larger picture of the world".

Societies in the world have only "recently" begun adjusting to the idea that we can exist just fine without religion because we can now lean on our understanding that it is okay to not know everything yet, and eventually over time, we will discover and answer more and more questions, like we have been doing for the past few hundred years.

Even still in modern human history, 2023, there places like the Middle East, where religion still pretty much gets to dictate laws and how people get to live their lives. How people get to be punished, who gets to have access to education and many other things we consider basic modern human rights.


I believe that for as long as the Right keeps trying to introduce/maintain laws and legislation that conform to their Religious views, we will keep having his crazy clown show of American politics.
