Hunter Biden's text messages between him and his family repeatedly complained that Joe was taking half his income, and documents showing the breakdown of funds flowing from the oligarchs to the Bidens show that half of the funds for Hunter Biden were held for Joe. As well as other family members like James Biden, Hallie Biden, friends Devon Archer and Rob Walker and James Gilliar on the take. Nine total family/friends outside of Joe Biden, all who received direct deposits. Bank records produced to the house investigation have totaled over $20 million flowing from Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Romania and Kazakh oligarchs to the bank accounts of Hunter Biden, James Biden & Devon Archer, the same oligarchs who repeatedly met with, were put on calls with, and dined with Joe Biden despite him saying he had never met them.
Notably these do
not include direct payments to Joe Biden's bank accounts. He was never paid directly as far as anyone can tell. The FBI informant from inside the foreign operations claimed that Joe Biden was paid $5 million (and another $5 million for Hunter, by burisma oligarch Zlochevsky) through a system of shell accounts and fake companies so complex the feds could spend a decade trying to unravel them, and as of yet I've seen no proof of that. But his reported income did suddenly surge by over $5 million in the opaque reporting of his book sales.
In general most of the people paying millions to the Bidens were overtly corrupt oligarchs or intelligensia, known for their bribery rings and in a few cases already / subsequently convicted of bribery offenses, imprisoned and/or mysteriously disappeared by the Chinese government. There was no pretense of legitimate business transactions, and no imaginable world in which someone could say with a straight face they'd spend millions hiring a drugged up dropout crackhead with zero business skills and who doesn't even speak their language. And those involved all talked about how Joe Biden was getting a cut (usually 50%, sometimes 10%)

This requires us to believe that we live in a world where that's a reasonable expectation.
The last plea deal negotiated between state prosecution and Hunter Biden imploded after the judge asked a few perfunctory questions. What confidence do we have that this will go better the second time around?
