so when do we start questioning the compound interest thing and looking forward to a world where sincerity and justice regained its rightful place?

Well exactly. Its a way of making money. The greed is there, a sin which controls the capitalists minds. Holding back quality to earn money is not a way to support art, its a way to support scam. Money DOES reduces the delivery of ART. Thats the point.

This tends to happen when an artistic enterprise is already well-established by previous success (Blizzard). The quality starts going downhill because they no longer need to make a great game, they can rely on their reputation. This is a constant throughout human history, it happens with everything, its almost a natural cycle

yes ofc Nintendo is legendary, super mario 64 was HUGE aswell back in the days, godly gameplay + awesome unique music

but in this case im talking about blizzard specifically. talking about the legendary diablo II and its unique atmosphere due Matt Uelmens unmistakable music. Until today Diablo II and Wow classic are in my opinion the best games blizzard ever developed. everything what came after was not as good as expected. tending to be worse.

How do you reconcile your belief that capitalism ruins art, when Japan (one of the most modern hyper-capitalistic societies right now) is responsible for the great and revered Nintendo?
