There are a few things to take away here, and the majority of this thread has missed on both.

1) Biden is demonstrably and provably corrupt. The Democratic party leader is guilty of the same sort of crime for the broader democratic party has been attempting, unsuccessfully, to prosecute Trump. As evidenced by this thread, there's no desire to pursue Biden on similar charges. Ergo, the Democratic party is clearly politicizing the Justice department, and is therefore responsible for collapsing public trust in American government institutions.

2) Legacy media non-coverage is emblematic of why trust in legacy media is collapsing. Media outlets would have you believe that disinformation is the result of new and uncontrolled mediums of debate (i.e. the internet). To the contrary, voters are being forced towards those new mediums as a result of the politicization of legacy news.

Legacy news, ABC in the states for Example , BBC in the United Kingdom. Used to be sooooo good. They really did live up to the name of being the 4th estate. They held politicians and governments to accounts.
Those journalists and broadcasters were nothing but legendary.

Did I claim that the Trump family was any less corrupt, or that there would be a difference between the party bases when it comes to how much they care about corruption? No, I did not.
By the way, Kushner was at least selling out to the Saudis, one of the country's most important geostrategic partners, rather than to China, the #1 geopolitical adversary.

Also note that Kushner's Saudi deal didn't get huge coverage by the legacy media either. It's almost as if they didn't want to rain on the parade of the country which is selling the oil that greases the US economy and which happens to be one of the best customers of the US arms industry.
