What narratives are those? Outside of some mistakes involving the death of the police officer after the events, I don't know of any narratives that were contradicted. We already knew that not all of the people who entered the Capitol were violent, and that some officers used de-escalation tactics because they were overwhelmed(as Noah Rothman explains in the article I posted).

Also, maybe I'm just not as cynical as you are, but I wouldn't expect Tucker's private views to so blatantly contradict his public views. I wouldn't expect him to say he hates Trump passionately, or that there is no upside to Trump.

You guys actually think this is a W. I encourage you to actually watch the Tucker Carlson segment you are freaking out about before commenting.

I’ll spoil most of it for you. 50% of the footage is of a violent riot. About one minute of the footage shows a man who was sentenced to four years in prison, and never once seen doing one single violent thing being calmly guided by multiple police officers, saying a prayer with them, passing by almost ten police officers and not even an ounce of danger seen in anybody’s body language.

The entire segment you people have lost your minds over basically says, “look at all this violent shit happening over here, now look at this guy who was never violent one single time who is doing four years”.

There is now video of the guy reading Donald trump’s tweet over a loudspeaker and begging the angry mob to leave the building.



You people’s brains are so damaged by corporate media you literally cannot bring yourselves to admit that there is substance to any of this.

Fox News is literally advertised as news and alot of people have it as their go-to "news". It mocks news channels and styles itself as a news channel. It provides its own news narrative which is often not factula. it provides opinion pieces and is disengenuous.

Narratives which were contradicted or put into question by the new footage:

- that multiple police officers were killed by the Jan 6 attack
- that leaders of the mob were all maniacs who only got access to various sites in the Capitol because they used or threatened violence. the footage shows the Q shaman was all alone, surrounded by multiple officers who could easily have subdued him at various points. they didn't, they instead led him to the House floor.

- that glowie Ray Epps had left the scene by midnight
- that the footage of Josh Hawley cowardly fleeing was highly doctored and misleading
