The fatal flaw of your argument is that Gray was likely slammed on the cement previous to being handled by the 3 officers above. You, i, or anyone else cannot know who is responsible for the neck injury fully without video of whatever happened to cause the damage. I for one dont believe that the damage happened as a result of simply not being restrained, he had injuries when he enterred the van IMO. Now my logical mind asks a question, if one officer slammed a perp to the cement in anger would his fellow officers stand back as he then picks the guy up and carries him to a van? No. Its fairly common for officers who witness misuse of force to separate the officer and perp. So im guessing whoever slammed the guy isnt in the above photos at all. Maybe he is. Either way you dont know who is responsible for the injuries or who was just standing and watching, neither do i. Both of us are just guessing. Could have been the 3 black cops or the 3 white cops but either way one thing is clear, neither of us knows.
As to the setup part of my post thats why i put it in a question format, it was not rhetorical i was asking if that was your view.
Actually i've watched the video of Freddie Greys arrest, and i see no black officers mistreating him nor would i think that if a black officer slammed him into the ground hard enough to break his spine - that he simply left the scene while the white officers made the actual arrest. In fact the only Black officer is see in that video is the one who opens the van's door and that is a totally subservient role, so I hardly think that was the guy in charge.
So in your mind the 3 black officers were the ones that slammed freddie into the pavement and then the 3 white officer's verbally reprimanded them on their excessive use of force and told them to go away. Haha - white privilege fantasies are funny.
