Thing is, most people generally agree that our trade deals could be more in favor of the United States.

But Trump's way of diplomacy where he just stamps his feet and makes us look like crap isn't helping and won't make any progress.

don't you dare. trump and bernie both said 'trade' and 'american worker', so it's the same. everything trump does is exactly what bernie would have done - so if you criticise one, you also have to criticise the other or you're a hypocrite. take that, communists! checkmate!

this would be a good argument if we hadnt just gone through 30 years of presidents being all nice and cozy when dealing with trade issues. from bush senior, who negotiated most of nafta, over clinton who signed nafta into law, over bush junior's "compassionate conservatism" and obama's intellectual "speak softly and carry no stick"-approach, they got nothing done on balancing international trade and making it fairer. absolutely nothing, nada, niente.

the fact that previous approaches of playing nice have failed miserably is the exact reason why trump is in office.

nope - you didnt pay attention during the election. Democrats ran solidly on the status quo of imbalanced trade deals and furthering these with garbage like tpp. lefties and democrats rejected barnie in the primary and had no intention of voting for America-first drumpf. thats a lot of people that voted for bad trade deals not in favor of USA or even fair trade deals.

Now, (c)linton may have ‘rejected’ tpp (which she once called a gold-standard trade agreement lmfao) once enough focus test groups told her campaign the obvious truth, but the die was cast already.

Is she?

I can't find anything on that other than some fake news from the RNC.

Ana Navarro just follows Dave Rubin's blueprint

it's the "I'm this side" but my entire job is actually to go on tv and talk shit about "my side" for a few minutes to get clicks and views

it's manipulative profiteering and fake af

so they fit right in

Oh trust me

I know how hard it is

but people that are there on either side to represent their beliefs or party should do so in a positive and informative way in order to truly be politically effective and honest

only tearing down the republicans or the democrats feeds the other party and does nothing for your own other than getting claps by circle jerkers

----

Dave Rubin is a nice guy and isn't the worst of his methods but does not push back at all or represent his values srtongly, he allows himself to be walked over constantly to be friends with republicans and give the illusion of debate because their is a market for it right now

he really doesn't debate he offers a platform for controversial people on the right to beta verbal smack him around for an hour

If I was Dave Rubin I would want to not be Dave Rubin.

Just another in a long line of 'classical liberals' getting cucked by the alt-right.
