What are the statistical metrics? Remove the personalities and look at politics. America polls better for a moderate populist protectionist on the issues than a moderate establishment globalist, so inaccurate opinion surveys produced inaccurate measures, but based on the logical dynamics of the race, Trump was favored to win- and I say that as someone who like voyaging plainly didn't recognize it beforehand. But Le Pen on the other hand is running in a country which is far to the left and inhabited by people like saucyson, Le Pen's base of support is a minority and is further from the moderates than macaroon. So for Le Pen to actually capture the middle would require a dramatic shift, something possible from backlash to terrorism or other high profile stuff to sway voter's minds. In terms of the politics, Le Pen is far less likely than Trump

Removing the personalities from the 2016 election doesn't work. Trump was a charismatic, brash guy who could talk his way out of anything. Hillary was a guarded woman with a rich history of baggage. She was the anti-change candidate.
