It's like his major complaint with the United Nations. There are 193 country members, yet we pay 22% of the UN upkeep.
You have very little knowledge of certain industries that aren't dominated by the US. Hell, just looking at the steel market the US just doesn't have the tech/plants to produce certain steels, unlike European plants. Which means companies have no choice but to buy with added tariff, since there is no domestic option. And if you think financial institutions are willing to provide funding for a plant that will take 20+ years to profit on only with the tariffs still in place, with term limits of 4 years, you're crazy.
