Not that I'm ever going to watch him, but Sean Hannity sure struck gold with his quip today. I'm not sure his bait was intentional, but the amount of media / social media tripping themselves today is amazing

it wasnt even bait lol he said “do as (c)linton did acid wash your servers delete emails smash your phones with hammers etc.”

people left out the “do as (c)linton did” part in their race to jump on this and thus the reeeeing occurred

was about as low effort as it gets and still triggered the usual suspects. nonetheless a true stroke of hilarity by hannity

It’s been humorous watching the different companies run different headlines about this;

Esquire - “Sean Hannity Knows Exactly What He's Doing With 'Jokes' About Destroying Evidence”

Vice news - “Sean Hannity recommends White House staffers commit a felony for Trump”

GQ - “Sean Hannity Encourages Mueller Witnesses to Do Even More Crimes Than They May Already Have Committed”

Vanity Fair - “Sean Hannity to Trump Associates: You’re Not Obstructing Justice Hard Enough”

I should have watched the original
so this is... the media... self-trolling?

Watch the original. Hannity was blatantly trolling and being tongue-in-cheek about Clinton's destruction of evidence.

Any criticism for Obama not doing enough to prosecute undocumented immigrants is kind of invalidated now that the criticizers are picking and choosing which laws to defend from the ACA.

Par for the course for anybody in the WH.

It's embarrassing that they couldn't just repeal the ACA. 7 years of campaigning as their #1 policy issue...they have the House, Senate, and the White House...and they still couldn't get it done.

I was honestly rooting for a repeal. Clear the decks of this healthcare policy (and subsequently the Congressman who repealed it) and get a true multi-payer healthcare system that reigns in insurance companies.

those are really two incomparable concepts. You can take a fistful of each and mash them together to no effect
in one instance, Obama selectively enforced existing immigration laws and Republicans attacked it as unconstitutional and Democrats defended it. In the other, Republicans attacked as unconstitutional the ACA after the mandate has been mooted, and Trump refused to defend it. In the third example, the one you didn't list but is at the bottom of the article you linked, democrats attacked DOMA and the Obama administration refused to defend it. So if you were angling for showing hypocrisy, eh

ACA was never constitutional. Only was ever passed by leftist "interpretist" judges

parts of it were constitutional, parts clearly weren't. The individual mandate for example straddled that grey line by being a tax that tried not to call itself a tax- it was permitted as a tax. But funding the risk corridors by usurping the power of the purse from congress and trying to conjure a permanent appropriation into being was a farce. I don't think anyone seriously ever believed that was constitution, they just argued it by necessity and let it languish in the courts for political purposes.
