My family on my mother's side is German. They had to change their name and leave Germany before WW I started. You don't hear me bitchin' about that. Shyt happens. If you can't move on after that, you're already dead.

Well, my mother's side of the family kept decent records. Keep in mind, both my parents were born in the US in 1925. 100 years ago was just yesterday for them.
