I met a girl pan handling in vegas, she was 13 years old and her mom was in hospital with bone cancer, the bank foreclosed on her home while she was being treated.
I actually took her to see her mother in hospital and gave her all the money i had readily available at the time.
I often wonder what happened to lacie and her mother.

No this was in 2013 when i went to the states last, we saw a lot of things and met a lot of people, did it the old fashioned way, road trip up what remains of route 66.


I love the usa.
You can see flaws in something you love and disagree with someone that you care about.
In fact if you can not see the flaws in something you care about you are doing it a disservice.

Australia... 3.0 million sq miles with a population of 24 million
United States... 3.8 million sq miles with a population of 326 million.

When Australia gets 326 million folks, maybe the US will use their methods. You gotta admit that it's a BIT harder to deal with 326 million folks wanting healthcare than it is to deal with 24 million.

Just walk the streets in ANY major us city and talk to the homeless, these flaws will become apparent.
