You Obama lovers never cease to amaze me.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/how-trump-rescued-the-economy-from-obamas-failed-policies

Remember when Obama said those jobs are never coming back, that Trump doesn't have a magic wand? The guy was President for 8 years and now that the economy is seeing a huge turnaround 3 years after he has been gone you guys still want to give him credit?? Fuck outta here.

Leaving it here again for those that choose to ignore the facts.

Bush didn’t cause the 2008 mortgage crisis. The root cause was a result of Clinton administration policy to get more Americans owning homes. Essentially The government incentivized risky lending practices by expecting banks to hit mortgage quotas.

Read this for a good history lesson.

Google who authored the financial modernization act of 1999. Also called the Grahm Leech Blailey act of 1999. Those are the senators who authored the bill that deregulated the delineated nature of banks allowing commercial banks and personal banks to do what the other did. We did the same thing in the early 1980s, deregulated savings and loans, which lead to the savings and loan crisis that 75% of savings and loans closing over the next several years as a result. We deregulated again and the same thing happened.

Google these three dudes and see who write the law you're taking about

It's fun watching you chimps talk about policy an economics sometimes. I know you heard a fact meant get you to think a certain thing, typed it here, and lost your fucking lunch...lol.

GLBA of 1999 is a great example of bipartisan legislation. So is No Child Left Behind. Everytime the Dems collaborate with the Republican party it is a shitshow. Affordable Care Act would have been a lot better if Obama hadn't tried so hard to get Republicans to buy in or work on the law.

Clinton was president in 1999 therefore Democrats responsible.

You see how utterly moronic your “it happened under republican leadership” point is?

And nice ‘no you’ but those laws are part of the story. Did you even bother reading the wsj article or did you do your usual routine of ignoring facts that shit on your ‘Democrats objectively better and they do no wrong’ narrative?

Paywall you dope. I have a great research paper about the GLBA 1999 a couple folks here have read it.

And again every time the Democratic Party collaborates with Republican party the bill is trash. They need to stop collaborating. The savings and loan crisis was bipartisan as well.

I love hearing that gramm Leach and blaley are democrats now.

At least we can both agree that repealing Glass-Steagal act was a disaster.
