I find it interesting how the most opinionated people in this thread, such as Crunkt, clearly haven't been watching the trial.
No, Kyle did not threaten a bunch of people a week earlier. A week earlier he witnessed people looting and vandalizing a CVS, and in a private conversation with a friend he mentioned a desire to shoot the looters. He did not act on that desire, he did not confront those looters in any way.
It's not related to the case, it's not relevant to the case, and it was barred from being introduced. The prosecutor, in bringing it up, actively violated the rules of the court. The fact the prosecutor has not been charged with contempt frankly shows to just how fair this judge has been.
Now, let's talk about the State Prosecutor effectively making excuses for rioters burning and looting businesses, throwing rocks, chemical bombs, and molatav cocktails at people, and actively hunting down a 17 year old kid after directly threatening to get him alone and cut his heart out.
Further, any claims of "racism" in regards to this case are just nonsensical. A white guy was attacked by three white guys, and shot them in self defense. Where does the matter of race even apply?
the same crowd that calls the criminal justice system broken because of the large numbers of black people in prison wish to break it and lynch people when a white guy with a gun defends himself after putting himself into a stupid situation among crazy property destroying out of towners.
the world is not filled with principled people, it is filled with people who feel justified in anger when their side is wronged, and justified in dismissal when their side is wrong.
