Exactly because it is the most extreme example. You can turn the entire issue around as well. The US could export to the EU if they complied with our standards. Then it wouldn't be a problem.
EU regulations go far beyond these standards, the well known german economist hans werner sinn explained as much nicely in an interview recently
even regular apples and potatoes are regulated in a way that makes it impossible for american products to compete on the market
i am the last guy, who wants food that is not the quality that we consider good
by the way, less developed countries suffer a lot from that as well, they cant enter the european market for the sake of european producers keeping prices high
https://ec.europa.eu/agriculture/sites/agriculture/files/potatoes/fact-sheet_en.pdfthis states how only "registered" potatoes are allowed to be on the market

- choosing just one issue of an overall balanced trade relationship to pretend poor america is taken advantage of (as a european mind you, trump love is strong).
- gets mad when this one example gets completely obliterated with one simple example.
irony ofc completely lost on them...
is it fun following people around, showing your stupidity with every post without EVER posting an argument
you are sick
