Lara Trump(wife of the dumber son) has been elected as co-chair of the RNC. She's expressed support for voters funding Trump's legal bills before, and a motion from an RNC member to prohibit the RNC from paying a candidate's legal bills never even had enough support to get voted on.

There's some level of schadenfreude when I see a political party get so humiliated.... but it would probably be more satisfying if Trump did not have a 50/50 chance to win in 2024.

The problem though is that there's just not enough Republicans who care about this. If I could speculate, people like ofthevoid and bogie don't like this sort of blatant nepotism and corruption, but the fallback is always "Trump aligns more with my policy views than Biden, therefore, what does it matter?".

What is your perspective on Hunter Biden, then?

He's a troubled son of a president, and hasn't been given a White House job or a job at the DNC? Unlike several Trump family members who worked in the White House or now work at the RNC.
