we are a country bordered by large bodies of water, and with a MASSIVE border with mexico. This wall will be compromised, climbed, tunneled beneath, and likely won't actually cover every area it needs to. Also, like with any wall, you pay the border guards enough, and you can get through. Looks like the cartel can still come in whenever it wants lmao.

Hey man, walls in the age of the internet are a joke. The globe will communicate no matter what at this point, and will trade just the same. The Berlin wall should be the last wall to have to come down before people realize closing yourself off isn't the answer.

automated turrets with a kill switch in the pentagon? Interesting. Assuming we can survive the fallout of a massive humanitarian disaster from the initial encounters lmao.

are the most prominent but Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Australia have also voiced that opinion in some form. That's just off the top of my head.

Let me ask you a question. Is being respected an important thing for you? Given the fact that most of the world thinks of Trump as a joke, do you think that's someone we should have as our Head of State and leader?

It is my opinion that the Head of State and Chief Diplomat are two important roles of the president. They are the voice and face of our nation. We need someone the rest of the world doesn't laugh at - whether you agree with the laughing or not.

Another reason is because we have no idea what Trump will actually do in office. He says one thing, but he has flip-flopped on a multitude of issues in just the 10 months he has been campaigning.

He is a true populist, and says and does what he thinks his GOP base wants, and that can be problematic. You need someone that can make tough decisions and not just pander to what is most popular at the time.

Lots of political fringe on the up-and-up have endorsed Trump more or less worldwide.

Geert Wilders, Marine Le Pen, Jean-Marie Le Pen, Nigel Farage, Dugin, Pushkin, pretty much anybody in any right wing, anti-immigration or nationalist group you can think of. I don't doubt PEGIDA is all about the Trumpening.

If the Saudis don't want to meet our leader it says we are walking the morally superior road

I'm perfectly ok with not being buddy buddy with an outdated primitively monarchy

The Saudis already know there's basically nothing they can't get away with, so they just left the President at the airport to rub his nose in it.

you shouldn't mock the australian heritage, having been a penal colony is a shared legacy with the usa
(but while australian schoolbooks acknowledge that legacy, american ones hide it)

This is very true. We essentially buried this story when Lincoln made up garbage about Pilgrims having been important to the founding of our nation when he was making Thanksgiving into a thing, mostly so that we could cling more tightly to an American identity after the war.

I'll give you 4 recent examples of flip flops.

1) Torture

2) Skilled worker visas

3) Syrian Refugees

4) Ban on assault weapons

5) Abortion

Don't need quotes for this one. He was pro-choice and now he is pro-life. He said he evolved on the issue. I can't criticize that.

6) Isreal-Palestine Conflict

That's just from a couple minutes of google searching. If you don't think Trump has flip-flopped on stuff, you're fooling yourself.

Every politician flip-flops on stuff, Trump just does it more often because he is a populist. Being a populist has its pros and cons. But this is a guy who will readily flip his position on something if it gets him more votes because he has no platform he is running on other than getting elected and "Making American Great Again."

There is no flip-flop on torture there. He wants to be strong on terrorists in the Middle East. He never said he wanted to break the law or force military leaders to break the law.

Your quotation on H-1B visas again has no contradiction. Trump does not want foreign workers over American workers and is consistent with this stance. What is he changing on exactly? I believe you are missing something here.

Trump wants to support Syrian refugees by building camps in Syria, not by bringing them to America. He has stated this already.

The point about assault weapons is a quote from Trump in 2000. This is not the ten month period you claim.

Do you have a source for the Israel quote? I want to investigate it.
