I just think it slows economic stimulation myself.

And now trump is back to blaming obama (again) for not doing anything about the russia meddling, despite having previously met with mcconnell for a unified front and was basically told to go pound sand by the republicans. He did this before, don't know why he's doubling down on the derp. He even tried it with flynn despite being warned not to hire him by obama due to all the shit that came out. So we've once again gone from "it didn't happen" to "obama let it happen"

I don't know, is the United States richer per capita than Europe or not?

The US has a lot to improve, guaranteeing employment isn't on the list.

How does Bernie expect workers to be disciplined under the policy? How will he finance it? How will he get workers from where they are to where they're needed? How will he bridge the skill gap between the unemployed and meaningful public sector jobs?

At least Trump has married himself to a system that's functional, Bernie can't have more than 80 IQ points to run together.

Like I said, probably Klobuchar > Hickenlooper >>> Biden for the top 3 right now
I don't think those other names like Harris or Booker really have the ability to compete in middle america against Trump
I'd say Hickenlooper has more credentials and name for himself than Klobuchar but is weaker purely for being a man.
Biden, I don't know, he's managed to keep his head above water in the floods by staying out of the real bitter discords and avoiding the appearance of being an establishment candidate. He could plausibly run as the Obama 2.0 instead of the Clinton 3.0. But that leaves him open to attack to reframe him, and he's getting too old, and all it takes is one female accuser...

I've said before, the questions should be- Can they win middle america and not just the coasts? Are they tarred with the establishment brush or not? Can they straddle the demographic divides on race/sex/etc? And finally, can they actually win a primary against more progressive candidates?

I really dont know how strong Klobuchar is though. She won her seat in the Democratic wave election of 2006, and defended it once since then in 2012, the best year for Democrats in this decade.

https://www.axios.com/oval-office-leak-kelly-sadler-mercedes-schlapp-trump-0b622aa7-6719-47f0-89eb-8d12008f7cd9.html
Shortly after word leaked that Kelly Sadler had taken a nasty shot at John McCain, President Trump convened a meeting in the Oval Office for a tiny group of communications staffers, according to sources familiar with the gathering. Sadler, Mercedes Schlapp, Raj Shah, and John Kelly all gathered in front of the Resolute Desk for a conversation with Trump about the leaking problem. They were the only people in the room, though the door to the outer Oval was open.

What happened: The president told Sadler she wouldn’t be fired for her remark. He added, separately in the conversation, that he’s no fan of McCain. Then Trump, who had grown obsessed with the leaking problem, told Sadler he wanted to know who the leakers were. Sadler then stunned the room: To be completely honest, she said, she thought one of the worst leakers was Schlapp, her boss.

Schlapp pushed back aggressively and defended herself in the room. And in follow up conversations after the meeting, some of Schlapp’s colleagues also came to her defense. (In a prior meeting, she had said, "You can put this on the record: I stand with Kelly Sadler"). Sadler went on to name other people she also suspected of being leakers.

The allegation — like a previous internal meeting to deal with leaking — ultimately got leaked to us.
Be smart: Trump administration officials have told me that "X is a leaker" has in this White House become synonymous with "I don’t like X." Everyone knows the leaker accusation has become the most powerful weapon you can wield against somebody you don't like, especially to Trump.

No one ever says "X leaked Y, and here's the evidence." It's just "X is a leaker."
If White House officials had a shred of evidence their colleagues were leakers then the colleagues would be perp walked off the premises immediately. Now, saying it in front of Trump is taking it to the next level.
Go deeper: White House leakers leak about leaking.
