so you acknowledge that he was downplaying the threat, and that those videos of him proving that are real, you just claim (without providing any specifics) that it's misleading because they didn't have like 20 full speeches in the video. i see. hard to make excuses for him while at the same time trying appear reasonable and not completely ignorant of facts i guess...

i mainly listen for the lies for entertainment. but also i listen to correct misleading narratives around the water cooler at work to discuss with others and try to educate.

but also this is a bit of a false binary, truth and lies arent all we have. half truths, misleading truths, and even (my fave) truths only uttered to distract from other things, like "were having a really bad flu season". true, but only said to downplay corona.

but also, there's a difference (or should be) between lying in normal times and lying in a crisis.
