I would think Ford would want a sex crimes prosecutor to do the questioning, unless she's lying through her teeth ofc.

the only reason why she would prefer being questioned by the senators over a female sex crimes prosecutor is that she intentionally seeks the optics of an abused woman being unempathetically grilled by a bunch of old white men.
