There's probably something to say about these radical online groups where you're all collectively contributing at getting each person worked up.

No normal individual I know would take up arms to go defend a gas station in another state or province. Something has clearly influenced a young mind or the mind wasn't right to begin with.

It's like the old school Army commercials where they play all kinds of high adrenaline scenes back to back to jet you pumped up and make you think fuck yeah that's for me. Then you think about it for ten seconds with a clear mind and realize, oh yeah no thanks.

This kid must have been so entrenched into social medial groups that it was just a constant feed of information to get the blood flowing and go do dumb shit like this.

You take a young sponge and toss it into a group where you have a bunch of Helical idiots posting the world hates whites 24/7 you might believe it. If you just walked away for ten seconds and thought rationally you would realize oh yeah I just have a regular life, no need to think everyone hates me.

Did Kyle know that the people he was to go with put up a message on FB saying that they intended to shoot up the protest? Maybe he didn't know and just went with them to counter-protest or some such. Also, maybe he carries a gun habitually. He didn't specifically bring one for the express purpose of creating violence.

My (limited) understanding of the matter is that he shot people who he thought were trying to harm him. He didn't shoot into a crowd of people randomly like you are suggesting.
