That is fine and dandy but a college education does not and will never correlate to having common sense.

getting a college education because you know you need it for employment -> common sense

but ofc if you are passive throughout your education it may not actually benefit you and you pop out at the end of it with minimal growth :(

Just because you need a college education to get a job therefor you get the college education in a specific field does not inherently give you common sense when it comes to all of the questions and issues of the world.
