I don't know if it's a cultural thing or what... but the guy doesn't come across as uneducated. He used simple, conversational language like any normal person trying to convey a simple point would use.

Well fair do's. Anyhow you're more in the know than me. Must be an accent thing. Northerners sound retarded here too.

To be fair I find English accents to be insufferable(Piers Morgan especially), unless it's an alpha voice like Mark Strong. I think Americans generally speak more plainly than Brits though.

When talking I aim for a Southern (around London) middle (and at times lower) class accent. I don't think that I can pull it off really, but at least all of the Scotsmen and the Irishmen that I've met have asked me if I was English. Guess that's something

Aspirated consonants are a fucking nightmare to pronounce. I've got a hard time trying to know when a consonant should be aspirated and when it should be not in the first place


I'd guess that it's just because you're used to hearing Americans talk.
New Yawk, Midwestern and Southern accents all sound great imo

His son, brother, and former partner were killed on the streets and he is trying to work with police and citizens to stop the violence that has impacted himself and so many others. He also said cops need to do the right thing rather than worry about staying employed.

Let's discredit him because of how he talks though
