When talking I aim for a Southern (around London) middle (and at times lower) class accent. I don't think that I can pull it off really, but at least all of the Scotsmen and the Irishmen that I've met have asked me if I was English. Guess that's something
Depends on the Northerner, Yorkshire accents sound great.
Aspirated consonants are a fucking nightmare to pronounce. I've got a hard time trying to know when a consonant should be aspirated and when it should be not in the first place

I'd guess that it's just because you're used to hearing Americans talk.
New Yawk, Midwestern and Southern accents all sound great imo
