The applications for stem cell research are infinite.... I'm stating to say %^&$ morals and just start with the experiments already....

needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few.

DM2 can be caused by obesity, but that's not the only reason and some can't be changed.
my pancreas was damaged by prolonged use of narcotics prescribed by a over-helpful family doctor
trying to help me with chronic pain, instead he addicted me and ruined my pancreas.

Sorry to hear about that. That's also the reason I said the majority of people with type 2 get it as a result of weight gain and not all, since there are other factors which can cause it.

I overall do agree with this. However one of the criticisms is that it is the gateway for other genetic manipulations. I mean it was almost 20 years ago now that the first genetic clown was made.

So a question that should be asked is how far are we willing to take it?
